APS HEX Cones is the latest generation of rotary polishing accessories for detailing work in tight and difficult-to-reach places, narrow areas. During the development of the APS HEX Cones, three maxims were in the foreground: highest processing quality, maximum flexibility and the longest possible service life. APS HEX Cones are a sophisticated combination of precisely shaped, high-quality foam in the shape of a cone on a noble aluminum pin in the shape of a bit. The foams used are graded in 3 degrees of hardness and thus enable a flexible selection depending on the application and polishing step.

The locating pin inside the foam body is specially rounded and positioned in such a way that a minimum thickness of foam "cushion" is guaranteed at every point of the cone. This prevents the foam body from wearing out, for example as a result of incorrect posture or overloading, for as long as possible. The bit holder is a special size, which represents a compromise between a comfortable cone change and minimal play of the taper pin in the holder of the shaft or the adapter.
